1. Services Provided -
The services we provide at Map city will be remapping, car keys and mileage correction and coding when required. If looked through the website in details it will say if not mentioned ask a member of our team to see as website could not be updated. Our expected outcomes are to satisfy our customers with the work we provide.
2. Pricing and Payments -
All pricing is set on our price list page of all our services we provide our payment methods are cash, bank transfers or card payments till further notice. There’s an deposit always required when having our services just depending on what you want it can start from £60 and up.
3. Scope of Work -
The process of our remaps will involve an trained technician to use specific equipment to get access to the information of the (ECU) electric control unit and adjust the settings. If attended to the customer after a certain time it can be a 2 day process but customer will still be able to use their car.
4. Warranty and Guarantees - When spoken to a member of our team we will cover what is covered under warranty. None of our maps are aggressive, unless customers requests it . Any aggressive maps will not be covered under warranty by us.
5. Liability and Disclaimers - All vehicles are checked over by our highly trained technician and scanned before preceding ahead with any work. When remapping the only risk that could potentially can damage the vehicle is having a power shortage which is very unlikely to ever happen.
6. Data Protection and Confidentiality - Under the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to find out what information the government and other organisations store about you. Therefore we will only be asking for your name and address for invoice purposes only we will never ask for personal information.
7. Cancellation and Refunds - Refunds will be accepted if our technicians wasn’t able to complete the job for example not having the right equipment when attending to the job. Rescheduling will be fine as there’s a deposit required to hold the customers slot.
8. Intellectual Property - when attending to a call out for the automotive lock smith a documentation for the vehicle will be required for proof of ownership, before any emergency entry or keys made.
9. Compliance with Laws - Some remaps will only be off road use only like track days and some fit in within the laws and regulations to day to day driving when you speak to a technician they will explain.
10. Customer Responsibilities -
The responsibility the customer will have is to take it easy once any work has been done to there vehicle and to listen to any of the technicians advise that has been given to them and some cars will require a waver form to sign by the customer.
